Ya Ho shows the best of The Viceroys, with the title track remaining their signature tune. Borrowing their lyrics from the old English ode about "16 men on a deadman's chest," the trio toast the buccaneers of yore with the obligatory "ya ho and a bottle of rum." Set to a sturdy reggae backing, the 1968 Studio One single was a massive hit, one of The Viceroys' biggest from that era.
